Date Palm Trees Common Pests

   • Treatment: Apply insecticides containing imidacloprid or chlorpyrifos around the base of the tree to kill adult weevils. Trunk injection with systemic insecticides can target larvae feeding inside.
     
2. Date Palm Spider Mites
   
   • Identification: Fine webbing on leaves, yellow or brown stippling on foliage, and premature leaf drop.

3. Bayoud Disease
